School Sport Canterbury have announced the winners of the 30th Zonta Sports Awards for 2021.

In order to publicly recognise the achievements of the winners School Sport Canterbury will distribute the information on their social media over the next few days.

Congratulations to Junior Harris who is the winner of Category One – The award for the most valued contribution to a team by a young sportsman who is not eligible for nomination in categories 4-6. Congratulations also to the St Bede’s College 2020 Sevens team for being highly commended in category five – The award for the most outstanding team of young sportswomen and sportsmen or mixed team. Isaac Hutchinson was a finalist in categories four and six for the most outstanding individual achievement by a young sportsman specialising in one sport and the best all round young sportsman who has achieved in more than one sporting code.

Alex Wayman and Jackson Wright were also finalists in category four.
