Two teams of St Bede's students took part in the annual Epro8 Engineering contest last Thursday at Hillmorton High School.

The competition consisted of the boys constructing large functional projects over 3 hours using a variety of materials and electronics, gaining points for each of the projects completed. It was a great test of their engineering, problem solving and team-work skills but most importantly was a fun day out for all. Unfortunately, neither of our teams qualified for the regional competition but they performed extremely well against tough opposition. Well done to the following boys who did their school proud; 

Year 10 team: Oliver Carter, Sean Spollen, Sam Tippen and Harison Staples. 

Year 9 team: Bede Bennie-Steel, Antonio Rodrigues, Robbie Lamb and Nicholas Robins.
