4 Old Boys (well 3 old boys and 1 current student) have been selected in the Men’s Canterbury Hockey team to compete in the National Hockey Championship.

This is the first time there have been that many Bedeans in the provincial representative team, and is indicative of the calibre of St Bede’s hockey.

The four are:

David Brydon (Black Stick, Olympian - Japan 2021) Joe Morrison (NZU21) George Baker (NZ U21) Charlie Morrison (NZ U18)

Unfortunately, the National Hockey Championship has been cancelled for November due to Covid, but they are hoping to play in some alternative tournament still to be determined.
