Updates and Information

QEII Dr closed at night for concrete pour

Concrete will be poured for the new QEII Drive Overbridge on Tuesday night, 11 February and Wednesday night, 12 February. QEII Drive will be closed between Main North Road and the Innes Road roundabout. This has been planned at night when the traffic volumes are low. The work starts at 9.00pm and will be finished by 6.00am the next morning.

Traffic will be diverted at Main North Road and Innes Road roundabout. People on Hills Road will still be able to turn left out onto QEII Drive. Cyclists and pedestrians using the QEII Drive shared path will not be affected by the road closure.

Wet weather may extend this work by one or two days.

Cranford St. milling and asphalting

From next week, Monday 3 February for two weeks, two way traffic on Cranford Street will shift to the west (St Albans) side of the road. This is so the road can be surfaced on the east (Mairehau) side. The side streets McFaddens Road, Weston Road and Knowles Street are closed at the intersection with Cranford Street on the east side.

Access for residents is at times restricted and there is no on-street parking on the east side during the work.
