Kelvin Fisher —

This weekend sees the last round of club games before a hiatus for school holidays, with U17 & U20 set to return on Saturday 23 July whilst U15’s have an additional week off and return to play on Saturday 30 July.

There is also a break in Thomson Trophy games with the Senior team next scheduled to play on Tuesday 26 July with the draw still to be confirmed.

Of special note within last week's results were the first win for U15 Marist, well done lads, and a narrow 1 point loss for Bedean's as they seek their first victory. Good luck tomorrow team, it could be your day.

Next week Thomas Martin & Troy Cutbush head to Hamilton for the U17 National tournament with their North Canterbury side, along with Brenda Martin being manager of this team and Blair Terrell as coach… All the very best for the tournament, have fun and enjoy the experience.

U17 White

Wow what a game U17White vs Pioneer Yellow .... it was super tough for the whole game & we were down going into the 4th quarter . . With minutes to go we came back with seconds to go we won by 1 point ... Pioneer Yellow were not happy but our lads fought hard and we were proud of their on and off court behaviour

U15 Bedeans

This week the U15 St Bede's Bedeans came up against CBHS. The boys were looking for their first win. From the first to the last quarter, the game was for either team to take. Unfortunately a one point loss for the our boys, but they should be proud of how they played as a team, with some brilliant periods of play. Can’t wait to see where this weekend takes them.

Reminder to all teams that raffle prizes need to be handed to your manager ASAP. Raffle tickets due in by 30 July or earlier if you have already sold them.
