The Open Days are an excellent opportunity for students and parents to interact with the University of Otago and to learn more about course options, scholarships, accommodation and other services available at Otago.

University of Otago Virtual Open Day

  • Date: Thursday 23 July 2020 (3:30–7:30pm)

Dunedin On-Campus Open Day

  • Date: Monday 10 August 2020 (9.00am–3.30pm)

The Virtual Open Day will invite you to enter the ‘virtual expo hall’ where you will have access to all the information you will need on study at the University of Otago. This includes:

  • Over 100 short presentations from academic programmes and courses
  • A live chat with University of Otago staff to answer all your questions
  • A virtual campus tour
  • Snippets from each of the 15 residential colleges
  • Information on scholarships and other key services available to students

Canterbury Tech invites students aged 13-17, and their whanau, to join us online on Thursday 30 July at 10.00am. This is an opportunity to engage with us to...

  • Learn about the local 'tech' industry
  • Meet a couple of local Canterbury tech employers
  • Hear employers talk about their own career journeys
  • Learn what qualities and skills employers value most
  • Take a virtual tour of workplaces
  • Have an opportunity to ask questions!

Our Speakers

We will have speakers from Trineo, Jade and Vodafone.

These Canterbury tech employers will share their own unique career journey stories with you. They will provide an insight into their places of work and what they look for in their employees.
