Winters Road Shared Path - Important for cyclists

WINTERS ROAD CHANGES TO THE SHARED USE PATH LAYOUT

Recently the construction gate on the east side of the Winters Road subway was closed as there were concerns about the safety and visibility of cyclists and pedestrians using the adjacent shared path.

A new layout for this area will move pedestrians and cyclists to the other side of Winters Road so they are no longer crossing the path of turning vehicles.

Pedestrians and cyclists will then use a temporary crossing midway along Winters Road where visibility is better.
