Service Day

Rachel Pitcaithly —

On Wednesday 22 March we will have our first Service Day for the year. On this day all students are expected to spend a day in service, not paid work, but service for others. This is a good example of almsgiving for Lent and living out our College motto – by faith and work and is an opportunity for our students to give back to others. It is expected that each boy will spend the day serving in some way or form – this could be at one place for the day or completing a variety of small tasks throughout the day. The goal is to make a difference for others.

Mane Tāne Kaiako will discuss ideas in Mane Tāne next week and complete a register of where each student is. If a student is intending to go back to their primary school, kidergarten or similar, they will need to check in first with the facility to get permission.

More information will be available next week.
