Pat, who was our oldest living Old Boy sadly passed away last Sunday 25 July, having celebrated his 98th birthday on the 11 July. We featured Pat in our April newsletter, a visit to Kaikoura was never complete without a visit to Pat, a man who still had a sharp mind, great memory and great stories to regale us with of his time at St Bede’s. While here at school, Pat held the roles of Sacristan and Captain of the 4th XV.
