On Sunday 7 November the St Bede’s College Junior Theatre Sports Team took to the stage alongside six other schools to compete in an improvisation competition run by The Court Theatre.

Theatresports™ in Schools is an annual competition for improvised theatre. School teams of up to six players perform scenes and games based on audience suggestions, scored by a judging panel of The Court Jesters.

The St Bede’s College Junior Team performed extremely well, with the audience laughing along as they acted out various scenarios, from improvising a story between five people (one line at a time!) to full on dramatic scenes with characters they made up on the spot.

In the end they walked away with a very well deserved second place!

A special thanks must also go out to Ms Days for her work with the team throughout the year.
