Year 10 student Jade Fu has just returned from Beijing where he competed in the Chinese Song Contest.

Jade was chosen alongside five other singers from Christchurch and Auckland to represent New Zealand at this contest. There were more than 30 countries represented and Jade was selected to perform at the famous Water Cube venue. 

He placed 2nd overall, which is an amazing accomplishment. Jade is a very talented musician; he plays the piano and violin and is part of our string group at the college. He is also in our senior choir. Well done Jade!
