A reminder that the College is closed for students on Monday June 19. Teaching and support staff are attending professional development at Tuahiwi Marae.

My Future Self – Year 13

The second session of this programme is scheduled for Thursday June 22. Year 13 students are asked to be in the Dining Room at 7:50am for a cooked breakfast and to listen to invited Old Boys regarding their career pathways.

This will be followed by session two with the team from Zestpeople. The session will focus on maximising strengths and include:

• Highlight personal attributes utilizing Zestpeople specially designed Attribute Survey.
  
• Discover individual Transferable Skills using industry related checklist and discussion of skill value to the working world and potential links to career opportunities.
  
• Emphasis on personal definition of success and opportunities to realise potential beyond the school framework.
  

Year 11 Retreats and Study Skills

Year 11 retreats and study skills sessions facilitated by UCANDO will be held between Tuesday 27th and Friday, 30 June. 

UCANDO are running a parent information evening on Tuesday, 27 June.

Further information regarding both of these events will be sent home next week.
