Africa World Challenge trip
On 10 December 2019 eight boys along with Miss Cron and their expedition leader Mike headed to South East Africa for a month of challenges.
The trip was action packed with two tough treks in the heat and mountains of Eswatini. They also spent time helping to build a Neighborhood Care Point for a village effected by AIDS. Then into South Africa for a safari in Kruger National Park where they were extremely lucky to see the ‘big five’ as well as much more.
From SA it was into the Portuguese speaking Mozambique and the beach of Tofo. After a few days of rest it was into a marine project which involved beach clean ups, micro plastic research and swimming with whale sharks and giant manta rays.
The trip went without a hitch, with all arriving back extremely tired and many stories. The boys will present to the College at an assembly in the near future.
