On the Friday before Tournament Week, all teams and coaches taking part gathered for Benediction at break – the Chapel was full. After Benediction, the Captain of each team was presented with St Christopher medals for his team and coaches. 

St Christopher is the Patron Saint of travellers and the boys then took these with them as they travelled to their tournament locations.
