Te Wiki o te Reo Māori begins in just a couple of weeks (14th September - 20th September), and to help you get prepared to embrace your Te Reo, we have an exercise for you to work on for this coming week!

This year's Māori Language Week focus will just be on one word - Whanaungatanga. Whanaungatanga loosely translates into the process of creating relationships, making connections and relating to the people we meet through their culture, whakapapa linkages, and mutual experiences It means to establish to whānau connections as kinship within our community.
