First time voters are invited to an information evening

On Tuesday, 11 July we will be hosting an event called Connecting Before Electing. This will be aimed predominantly at first time voters who would benefit from more information about why their vote matters and what each major political party stands for. There will be an opportunity for each political party to share their visions, views and overarching policies. As well as opportunities for young people to ask questions to particular parties.

The young people from within our school would benefit the most from being exposed to this information. This event will be non-confrontational, and is run predominantly by other young people. There will be free food and opportunities to ask questions and mingle with others attending.
