Last week  had a large number of students listen to the opportunities and courses available at Lincoln University, Canterbury University, Queenstown Resort College and Otago University.

Sunday May 7th and Monday May 8th

Sunday 7 May has a limited programme, focusing on the most popular academic subjects. College and campus tours.

Monday 8 May - includes an expo where you can learn about the subjects and courses on offer at Otago from the academic departments who teach them.

Registration is not required to attend either day.

Day Trip to Lincoln University

If you are interested in attending Lincoln University 2024, please email jkershaw@stbedes.school.nz to put your name for the day trip, scheduled for the 9th June.  

You will have tour round Lincoln University, meet some of the St Bede’s Old Boys, visit the accommodation on site, listen to lectures talk to you about the courses on offer at Lincoln University, hear what scholarships are available and how to apply. You will have lunch in the University café and visit the state of art gym facilities they have recently installed.

Medical Imaging - new closing date

Applications for this programme will close earlier than in previous years – please be aware.

Applications for Ara Te Pūkenga's Bachelor of Medical Imaging now close on the 1st of August. Students looking to apply should take this new date into consideration when they are working on their application. There are still plenty of opportunities before this date to get information on Medical Imaging, listed below.

Warfare Officer Experience

Warfare Officers ‘drive’ the warships. You work on the ship’s bridge, control the ship's maneuvering, are responsible for the safe passage and navigation of the ship at sea, and manage the bridge staff.
