Congratulations Walter!

We are thrilled to once again celebrate the remarkable achievements of old boy Walter Brown (2016-2020), who has played a pivotal role in helping the Canterbury Rams secure back-to-back NBL championships. The Rams clinched the NBL final over the Auckland Tuataras in front of their home crowd at Cowles Stadium on Sunday, 28 July.

Walter's dedication and skill on the court have been instrumental in the Rams' success, and we couldn't be prouder of his accomplishments. The Canterbury Rams' journey to consecutive NBL titles (they have six titles in all) has been nothing short of inspiring. The team has demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience, and a never-give-up attitude. Walter’s performance throughout the season has been stellar, earning him recognition and admiration from fans and fellow players alike. He has subsequently been named the ‘Hustle Player of the Year.’
