During the last week of term, the Year 9 boys were spoken to about the Year 9 Haka Competition which is on St Bede's Feast Day in Term 2.

Their House Captains gave them the responsibility to take the physical copy of the words they were given and use them along with a tutorial video they were emailed to practise during the holidays. (Please see the attached PDF below for a copy of the Haka words.)

This was a big amount of trust their leaders put in the boys as we only have four weeks to practise once we come back from the holidays! 

Could you please talk to your son about this over the next few weeks and make sure they are aware of the importance to practise on their own and try to become familiar with the Haka as best they can. Your support is most appreciated.
