St Bede's by JPhotographic

Greetings from St Bede's

The campus has a different feel this week with seniors coming in and out daily to sit exams, and staff busy marking in preparation for the Parent/Teacher Evening next week - so the pressure is on.

Next week it is Vocations Week and we will have many visiting clergy, seminarians and others in lay ministry who will share their vocation in RE classes.  One of our visitors is Sr Mary Hanrahan, long-time Principal of Villa Maria, and Superior of the Mercy Order and more recently hospital chaplain.  Another is Fr Jack McLain, who is a Jesuit priest, ex principal of Catholic schools in Australia.  He is spearheading the building of a Jesuit College in Pukekohe and is interested in how we enhance our Special Character at St Bede's College.

Target forward meetings occur next week and you will have received an email of the changes in the timetable so as form tutors spend time meeting with each of the senior students.  These are important as we approach the end of our academic year.

Until next week
