Important announcement about our much anticipated event.

After much consideration and in response to valuable feedback from our community, we have decided to postpone our Boarding 100 event, until 4-6 April, 2025. This decision comes as part of our commitment to ensuring the event is worthy of this milestone celebration and that the invitation has reached far and wide in our boarding community.

Our primary goal is to create a memorable and meaningful celebration that truly reflects the spirit and history of St Bede’s boarding tradition and to reconnect old boys who made St Bede’s their home.

In the meantime, we need your help to make sure that the Boarding 100 celebration is a resounding success:

1.      Spread the Word: Reconnect with old boys and alumni who may not yet be aware of the event. Your outreach can make a big difference in ensuring that everyone who wants to participate has the chance to do so.

2.      Join Our Competition: Reconnect with your boarding buddies and stand a chance to win a night’s stay at the Commodore Airport Hotel, with breakfast included, donated by old boys Michael, Thomas and Kenneth Patterson. Nominate up to four boarding buddies to share a couple of twin rooms for this unique opportunity to relive the old days and rekindle your friendships.

To enter, email oldboys@stbedes.school.nz with the names, current email addresses, and years of attendance for all nominees. Please note: Up to a maximum of 4 nominees per group for two rooms accommodation on the night of the Boarding 100 event.

3.      Stay Connected We will be providing updates and additional details as we get closer to the new date in April. Please make sure to keep an eye on our official channels for the latest information.
