Invitation for Free Kiswahili Lessons at Toi Pōneke Arts Center (South Wellington Schools)

Kiswahili is one of the most widely spoken languages in Africa, with over 200 million speakers across East and Central Africa, and is recognized as a key language of communication across the continent and beyond.
Having access to African languages being taught outside the home is a rare opportunity in Aotearoa, making this program particularly valuable. Kiswahili is an International language. The Language is also broadcast by BBC, VOA, and taught in Universities around the world.
It is a language for future interpreters.
Africa Connection Aotearoa is offering engaging and interactive learning modules designed to enhance language skills and broaden cultural understanding. These lessons are suitable for all ages and are provided free of charge. Complimentary refreshments will be available, and participants are welcome to bring something to share.
