Nau Mai Ki Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori - we celebrated te wiki o te reo Maori in a number of ways throughout this week.

On Tuesday Nan Walden presented the College with a korowai that she had created.  We are very appreciative of her generous gift.  Nan created this korowai for St Catherine’s as a symbol of the mana of Maori.  The korowai is on display in our main foyer beside the photographs of our past tumuaki.

How are you practising your te reo this week? Are you learning a new kupu or phrase a day? Singing waiata, reading pukapuka, or playing new games with your nohinohi? There are so many great ways to bring te reo into your daily practices!

Unuhia te pō, te pō whiri mārama
