Congratulations to all the students who received awards at our Sports Awards ceremony. A huge thank you to the whānau (families) that were able to join us. This year 70% of our students have been involved in sport, this is a fantastic achievement and we are so grateful to all those who have supported sport in the College. Without Coaches, Managers, and parents helping us to coordinate teams this would not be possible.

It’s been a big year for our sports teams this year; to name a few, our 3x3 Basketball team won the College Sport Wellington Open Grade Competition, and our Senior 1 Badminton Team won Division 1. We had our most successful Netball season with all 5 teams making the grand final for their respective grade which 4 of the 5 teams won. Our Senior A Volleyball team competed at the Volleyball nationals. Our Senior A Netball team competed at the Lower North Island Secondary Schools Tournament which St Cath’s hasn’t had a team enter in this competition in quite a few years. More recently we had a rugby seven’s team – which we haven’t had a team in a long time.
