From Friday the 26th of August to Sunday the 28th, I went down south to Christchurch for a two-day rugby league tournament. We were one of two teams that had the chance to go down south. I have been captain for three teams this year, including this team that travelled alongside me. I had the opportunity to captain our team and award gifts to our opposition. We decided to give our opposing team a Kingfisher bag, a beanie and a badge. Down there, scouts from the Warriors were there to watch out for some players that stuck out for them. I received a Warriors player of the match award and got named in the Global Games Junior Rugby League squad for 2022. I play Rugby League for the Randwick Kingfishers Team. I’ve played Rugby Union for some time but have grown my passion for Rugby League some years back.
