Year 10 EOTC Day

Katrina Kerr-Bell —

The Year 10 Activity Day took place in the middle of November. We went to

Daytona in Upper Hutt and did Ice Skating, Archery tag and swimming at H2O

pool. This was an important day for us as Year 10s. Next year we will be Year

11s and spit up from each other.

This trip gave us an opportunity to try new things, such as Ice Skating and

making new connections through playing Archery tag. Ice skating was really fun

because it’s a good thing to do with friends. The favourite activity were the

slides at the pool as they were very exhilarating. We enjoyed the day as it was

a chance to do wild and different things in a school environment. It was also a

chance to hang out with our classmates and get to know them a little better.

We recommend going to Daytona for a day out with your family. We highly

recommend the pools as a place to visit with your friends. Although Archery

tag was competitive, it was a lot of fun.

We would like to thank Ms Graham, Mrs MacDonald, Mr Palamo and Lavinia

who came with us. We would particularly like to thank the PTA who funded a

lot of the trip for us.
