Upon her deathbed, Mother Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, asked her community of sisters to “be sure to have a comfortable cup of tea for them when I am gone.” The comfortable cup of tea has become of symbol of hospitality and kindness for Mercy.

We have a small collection of tea cups but would like to add to it.  If you know of anyone who has a set they are willing to donate we would love to take care of them and use them for special occasions.
