Thank you so much to the SCC students who were part of the welcome to Afioga Fiame Mata’afa the Samoan Prime Minister

Our students were invited to perform for this special occasion at short notice and did not hesitate in saying yes.  The organisers sent this email to me on Wednesday morning.

"We wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to St Catherine’s students who joined us all last evening. The young women were not only providers of a wonderful and skilful presentational performance – but they were clearly well organised and practised. These are things everyone noticed. Their performance was rewarded with cash donations that we would like to get to the girls as well.

Afioga Fiame Mata’afa our Samoan Prime Minister was delighted with the performance and noted the presence of young people in her speech as well as later as she farewelled them all. (Some of our young students were so excited they may not have heard it)

Thank you so much for the ability of staff and parents to support their daughters taking part in an evening event with us. They were a credit to St Catherine’s.

We would like to visit with them again at a time and date that suits so we can provide a ‘thank you shout’ (and their donations) in person at a time and date next week that suits you all.

Best wishes to you all, and thank you again Katrina for being so positively responsive even within a very tight timeframe. We look forward to meeting you soon!"

Thank you to all the parents, students, Ina and Halina for making this possible.
