Student Learning Conversations

Mandy Page —

April 5th 8.30am - 4pm

Staff are currently collecting evidence to complete a one-page summary report under the following criteria; Effort, Homework, Behaviour, Achievement, Uniform, Punctuality. The grade allocation is Excellent, Good, Needs Improvement, and Needs Immediate Attention. These reports will be emailed home on Friday 31st March. This report will form part of the Student Learning Conversation (SLC) with the designated teacher (kaiawhina) and the student. Parents are invited to the SLC. We are using whānau time to prepare for the meeting. You can view your daughter's goal-setting through the school portal. The focus this year is wellbeing. What actions can your daughter take to ensure she is well?

Student Learning Conversations will be held on Wednesday 5th April between 8.30am and 4pm. Normal classes for students will not be held during this day. However, the school library will be open for supervised study. Students may come in non-uniform.

To book an appointment time for your daughter, go to the following web address:https://www.schoolinterviews.co.nz/code/h4bq7

You will need to enter your name, email address and your daughter's name. The "subject" is Student Learning Conversation.

You will be emailed the name of the kaiawhina. If you are unable to book online please ask your daughter to see her kaiawhina to book an appointment. Alternatively, you can call or email me ( mandy.page@scc.school.nz) and I will give you any assistance that you may need. You can enter the SMS student portal https://stcatherines.school.kiwi with your unique username and password (emailed to you this term).
If you have any concerns regarding your daughter's progress at this stage make contact with her Whānau teacher, Dean or kaiwahina.
