A huge thank you to Sister Stephanie for her organisation of this and to the Wellington Host Lions Club for all their support

Although a few drops of rain began the day it did not dampen our spirits.  Not sure if it was our positive energy and mood or Catherine McAuley helping us out but it turned into a brilliant day.  It was awesome that so many in our community and in our area were able to support us.  A huge thank you to all the students and whanau that supported us by donating goods and human power to the day.  It was such a success that we hope to host another one next year.

A message from Sister Stephanie, "Wellington Lions Club and St Catherine’s College PTA offer a big thank you to all the students who came to help at the E-Waste collection on Saturday. Many of the adults commented on how good it was to have you helping and being a student presence to those who came to drop off waste. Some of our customers had never been to the college before. You were a really welcoming group. Planet Earth is happier now as we took four huge trailer loads, two car loads and the college van loaded full to the Recyclers. We also made money for the college…final total not in yet but around $4000. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
