Our students are privileged to have access to one of the finest teams of music tutors available in Wellington who come into our school to teach their specialist instrument. This reflects the commitment of St Catherine's College to provide the best teachers, coaches and tutors.

Extra-Curricular Music lessons take place during the school day in the practice rooms in the Music Department and are scheduled at the same time each week for the term.
PAYMENT
At St Catherine’s College we provide a heavily subsidised Music Programme. Cost of lessons for each term is as follows;
• If a student wishes to take an instrument, a charge of $100 will be required with a deposit of a term in advance.
• If you need to hire an instrument there is a charge of $30 per term. (Violin, saxophone, clarinet, flute all available to hire).
• Regular automatic payments or full payment can be made to St Catherine’s College 06-0574-0110479-00 with your daughter’s name as particulars and Music Lessons as
reference.
• Registration for all music lessons for 2022 can now be made through Google Forms Extra-Curricular Music Lessons 2022

Learning to play and enjoy music is beneficial for positive development of the teenage brain and hence we encourage students to get involved.
