We’re writing from the Kilbirnie Recreation Centre, a local wheels based facility located here in Wellington. Next month we have our annual Halloween Roller Disco coming up, which is a fun and inclusive night of skating, prizes, dress ups, and something a bit scary, for everyone to enjoy.

Our tickets will be going on sale now and we wondered if you could put a short blurb about our event in your school notices in the next couple of weeks before the end of term. This will be a great opportunity for your kids to get out in the community, have some fun, and be active all while doing it! I have attached the blurb for our event down below, and have also attached our poster if you’d be interested in displaying them around your noticeboards.

On Friday 28 October, something strange is happening down at the Kilbirnie Recreation Centre! Come join us for a night of skating, music, food, prizes, a Fright Zone and something a little bit scary...

Tickets are on sale now from the Kilbirnie Recreation Centre reception - $10 for an individual ticket and $35 for a family pass. Limited skate hires will also be available. This event is open to all ages, so start getting your costumes ready for the whole family!
