Kia ora,

Commonwealth Youth New Zealand cordially invites your students to participate in our upcoming event, Student Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (Student CHOGM) 2024.

Given your school has either been involved previously with a Student CHOGM, or another similar leadership event, we would like to invite your students to attend this year's event which is run over two days in Wellington.

About:
Student CHOGM is a leadership event tailored for senior high school students. Participants take on the roles of Heads of Government or Foreign Ministers, representing a Commonwealth country. Over two days, students navigate political crises, build alliances, and address global issues impacting Commonwealth nations. The conference features high-profile guest speakers, interactive Q&A sessions, and skill-enhancing workshops vital for their future careers. Attendees also experience Question Time in Parliament, observing real-time debates between the Prime Minister and Members of Parliament. The event is fully catered, offering morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.
