At St Catherine’s College, we have been holding a competition called BATTS (bring a toy to school). The toys we collect will go to Vinnies.

The toys are aimed at all ages, from playdough and soft teddies to make-up for teenagers. The gifts and toys we gathered over the month of November will be given to Vinnies, who will invite families who are in need to choose something for free to give to their kids for Christmas.

Our value of the year at our school, St Catherine’s, is compassion and aroha, and we see this drive as being compassionate towards and helping our community.
