We welcome all our students back tomorrow.  We were preparing a Powhiri, but with covid this will not be able to go ahead.

Students will all come in summer uniform and the morning will be an orientation time to familize the students again.  Classes will be as normal in Sessions 4 and 5.  Finish will be 3.20pm.

For families struggling with uniform, we have a very small amount of secondhand here for purchase.  You can contact kandy.hawkins@scc.school.nz if you wish to make an appointment to view this.

A new email address has been set-up for absences - attendance@scc.school.nz.  Please email this if you daughter is not attending school because of an illness or has an appointment during the school day.

We will keep everyone informed of any changes that may arise due to covid, but the biggest change for students and staff will be that a mask is required to be worn at school.  The Health Department have said that a surgical mask is the best protection.  We are hoping to have some masks available at school supplied by the ministry, but your daughter will need to have at least one mask with her each day, a spare in her bag would be a benefit as well.

We look forward to getting everyone back to school and the days to return to as normal as possible.  Remember we are always here to help families with anything, so please contact if you would like to discuss anything.  Things can be difficult financially and emotionally, but we will always be there to offer help if we can.
