We are not always aware of the sports students play outside of school so it is important that they are acknowledged. It is important that students or parents provide us with the information so that we can recognise all students.

All students have been sent this form to complete to ensure that we do not miss anyone. Please encourage your daughter to complete this.

Sporting Black

This recognises the elite sporting achievements in a New Zealand Secondary Schools Sports Council-sanctioned event.

This is awarded to a player who has been:

• Selected for a National/Regional team in an Under 15 grade or above, and that team plays a competition game; and/or

• If a team or individual gains a placing in a National/Regional competition, this may be the College team or a representative team; and/or

• If a student is named in the Tournament team at a National event; and/or

• North Island or National Competition.

• Has excelled in SCC sport by being selected for a top team 3-4 years in a row.
