Introducing our new staff
Dr Maggie Trapp - Head of English
I am originally from California, where I earned my PhD in English and taught for a number of years at the tertiary level. My family and I moved to Wellington a little over five years ago. We have two teenage daughters who are now quite Kiwi! Before coming to St Catherine's, I taught English at Queen Margaret College and Scot's College. I'm absolutely thrilled to be starting this new chapter at St Catherine's. Term 1 has barely started, and I can already feel how warm and welcoming the entire community is at this special school. I'm excited to work alongside students as we each become better readers and writers, and I look forward to learning more about the school and my new colleagues in the coming weeks.
