Introducing our new staff

Mr Sameer Khan - Mathematics

Kia ora“ Hello everyone, I am Sameer, and I am so fortunate and excited to be teaching at this prestigious college and teaching mathematics. I was overwhelmed and so appreciative of the very kind, warm and humble welcome by our college principal when I arrived in New Zealand for the very first time. It was more than just welcoming. I am from Fiji, and my teaching majors are Mathematics and Physics. I have done Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a PostgraduateDiploma in Science and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of the South Pacific. Mathematics has always been my favourite, and I love teaching mathematics".

Some fun facts about myself I love to do biking, and I think this is a good place for it and would sometimes love to ride a bike to school. I also enjoy playing futsal and football. I am from a farming community with my parents being sugar cane farmers, and I enjoy doing farmwork. I am married and blessed with 2 little lovely kids.

I put well-being of our students first, respect their rights and dignity, nature their sense of self-worth and serving their spiritual, academic andhuman needs.
