Introducing Our Special Character Student Leaders

Nescy and Bianca have been at this school since year 9 and have made many memories within and outside of school. They are looking forward to creating more memorable moments throughout the year together.

We both are very excited and grateful to be your special character leaders for 2023; we have some events and committees planned for this year.

Mercy Crew

Mercy crew is a group/ committee where we give back to the community outside of the school through acts of compassion in our school. We also complete these actions by getting to know each other and making new friends. It usually takes place in break two on Thursdays in A14.

Last year we did various actions, such as knitting peggy squares to create beautiful quilts for Wellington Hospital Neonatal Unit. We also made cards with encouraging messages to give to the kids in the hospital.

Additionally, we held a sausage sizzle lunch and a coin trail competition that enabled us to raise money for the people of Tonga, which suffered from natural disasters last year.
