Maria has been working with Ardie throughout the month as part of receiving this Scholarship.

The Scholarship provided Maria with the opportunity to train under Ardie’s guidance and engage in important conversations that are key to any leader’s success. The programme will offer a personalised and exclusive experience for Maria to learn and develop while gaining an insight into Ardie’s life.

With the current challenges and complex environment our youth are growing in we understand that it is now more important than ever to educate, support, and remove barriers for our next generation of leaders. Our programme aims to build trust, friendships, and connections for life.

Pre-season sessions consisted of:- Running- Weights- HIIT (held at local CrossFit)
After pre-season training, Maria was invited to join Ardie and other local guests to touch on the following modules...1. Teamwork & resilience

• Amazing Race around Wellington.

2. Well-being

• Safe environment for everyone to engage in an open discussion.
• Hear from Ardie & how he works on his own wellbeing.
• Pits & peaks.

3. Relationships & connections

• Self-identity.
• Q&A with Ardie and his family.
• Students’ parents are welcome to join this session and share a meal afterwards with the Savea family.

4. Careers

• Turning passions into successful careers. Hear from a panel of local experts in their field.
