Update

Jo Earl —

The last few weeks have certainly been fast and furious but I am so proud of our school's response to Distance Learning. It is like we have been gearing up for this, as the shift has been relatively seamless.

I know that there have been some glitches however we have managed to solve most of them in a timely manner. Thank you so much for your patience.

I really hope that things haven't been too hard for you all as you made big adjustments with work and balancing work and family life.

If you watched the latest update from Jacinda Ardern yesterday you will know that a decision will be made on Monday as to whether we will be moving to Alert Level 3 next week.

We are currently working on what Level 3 will look like for our school. At present we are waiting for detailed advice from the Ministry of Education on the protocols we will need to undertake to keep you and your children as safe as possible, if they have to return so that you can work. Much of this advice will be around social distancing, where possible and of course stringent hygiene practices.

As soon as we have any more information on this we will share it with you.

Ngā mihi nui
