Congratulations Kaupeka for a great, 'Night at the Museum'.

Nicholaas Van Wieren —

On the 1st of July, (Wednesday,) St Francis of Assisi held their first PBL showcase for the year.

The main driving question was, “How can we be admirable and worthy New Zealanders?” Many people showed up to the PBL showcase to see the amazing creations from the Kaupeka hub. They showed off their amazing portraits of famous New Zealanders and the projects that we did to convince people to be worthy New Zealand citizens. Projects such as; Joshua O’Connell’s Scratch project that showed off New Zealand's amazing history, or like Kade Burroughs, Antonio Rodriguez, and Nathel Wijimuni’s band performance showing New Zealand artists’ songs. The night was amazing for everyone involved and the students should be proud of what they have accomplished over the two terms. Every student also took part in creating a Maori conversation on various types of apps. The night was extremely successful for the Kaupeka Hub (Year seven and eights,) and we hope to see another amazing PBL showcase at the end of next term.
