A great opportunity to look inside our Intermediate School.

As you will be aware from our save the date email, last term, next week on Wednesday 31 July, we are throwing open our doors to welcome you into the Kaupeka Hub at St Francis of Assisi. 

During your visit you will see first hand what a typical day in Kaupeka looks like. You can expect to see self-managing students, participating in workshops and working on collaborative and independent tasks. While you are visiting our amazing flexible space, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of Kaupeka students and the Team Leader - Whitney Hansen.

As you will see on the form we have arranged tour times throughout the day (times below). These tours have been designed by our student ambassadors to ensure you get the most out of your visit with us. Tour Times 9.30 am - 9.55 am. 10.00 am - 10.25 am. 11.00 am - 11.25 am. 11.30 am - 11.55 am. 12.00 pm - 12.25 pm. 1.30 pm - 1.55 pm. 

If you are a parent of a Year 6 student you are more than welcome to bring your student with you on the tour.  All Year 6 students who attend St Francis of Assisi School will take part in this day, so if you are unable to make it on Wednesday your child will still get this opportunity. If you are interested in knowing more about the Kaupeka Hub and opportunities for Year 7/8 students in 2020 at St Francis, but are unable to attend on Wednesday, please email - whitney.hansen@stfrancischch.school.nz to arrange another time to visit.
