We began our day with a peaceful liturgy in whanāu groups where we thanked God for our school, our community and asked God to guide us as we work to live out our charism and values.

The remainder of the day was spent participating in fun activities; obstacle course, tug a war, egg and spoon race and lots more. We ended our day with an ice block as a Feast day treat. Thanks to our PALs group and Miss Gill for their fantastic organisation of the games and Mrs Mackay for preparing the Liturgy.

Closing prayer from our Liturgy.

Lord, open our hearts and our eyes to the wonders of your presence among us. May we see the signs of your beauty within and about us and ever be in awe of the simple gifts of life. Help us to reach beyond ourselves and to give thanks for all of your creation that shares this universe with us: the peoples of every nation, animals of every species, all forms of vegetation, the planets, stars and all elements. We pray this in union with the incarnate Word of God in whose image all was created.
