Jo Earl —

What a stunning country we live in!

Today I am writing this from Taipa - a lovely spot in the far north where I am meeting with other Manaiakalani Cluster leaders from all over New Zealand. We are meeting to  discuss how we can continue to keep teaching and learning visible and ubiquitous, how we can keep our students connected,  engaged and enthusiastic about their learning and our teachers at the forefront of effective teaching practice.

It is certainly a beautiful part of the country to be doing this mahi.

Whānau Questionnaire

Each year Manaiakalani seek feedback from whānau about the Learn, Create, Share programme and the teaching and learning that is happening in our cluster schools. They are gathering information from all the Manaiakalani schools (there are at least 100) and then we use this data to inform us of next steps.

We have gathered data from our teachers, leaders and our students - now it your turn. This is your chance to offer your thoughts. Please take the time to let us know what you think - it is anonymous - but linked to our school which means that we will get the information and be able to consider our next steps in this area. We are constantly trying to improve teaching and the learning experience for our tauira.

BOT Meeting

The Board will be meeting next week on Thursday night at 5.30pm.
