Extra Opportunities @ St Francis

Jo Earl —

There are many opportunities for your tamariki to get involved at St Francis.

Kapa haka 8am in the Hall - Thursdays

Kapa haka started this week. We were thrilled with the turnout. Term 1 is a time for children to come and see what it is all about - they don't have to make a commitment until Term 2.

Lit Club

Thursday Lunchtimes starting Thursday 4 March Years 3-8

This is  a chance for us to read and share the love of books. Badge opportunities. If there any parents who would like to help with this club please let me know - really keen to have some extra help. Jo

Code Club

This year we are unable to run this club after school however we will still run our Friday lunchtime Code Club. This will start next week 5th March in the Kaupeka Hub - for all ages.

Ukulele

This will be held on Wednesday lunchtime in the Paiaka Hub. Years 3-8

Running Club

Next week (Tuesday 2 March) we are starting the SFOA Running Club for students in Years 5-8.

Students will need to be at school at 8am in their sports gear and will need to bring their school uniform to get changed into after.

We will initially start running at school on the back field, then as the term progresses we may decide to move to Walter Park, if there is enough interest, if this happens we will get in contact with you first.

If your child would like to participate in this club, please fill in the following google form by Monday 1 March.
