Last Wednesday night the St Francis of Assisi Ukulele Club took part in the annual Strike, Strum, Blow konohete at the Christchurch Arena.

Our group of students aged 4-8 have been practising hard and performed songs by New Zealand artists Six60, Shapeshifter and some new composers.

There were 1300 students from thirty nine schools across Canterbury playing marimbas, ukuleles and recorders. It was a fantastic night of music and fun.
