Nā te Tumuaki

Jo Earl —

The first two weeks of term have been very busy with the swimming lessons changing the normal routine.

Swimming

While it has been busy, it has certainly been worth the disruption, the improvement that has been seen in the growth of skills is amazing. Read more about this in the newsletter.

On Tuesday night and the Whānau Assisi (PTA) meeting the PTA agreed to fund the buses for swimming to the tune of $4720 - this will be a great saving for you all and we want to thank Whānau Assisi for this contribution - and making things easier for everyone.

Upcoming Events

Please check the article in this newsletter to see what's coming up this term.

Whānau Assisi Wine and Cheese Evening

Wednesday 17 August 7pm

It is fantastic to finally be able to hold more events and start connecting again. The purpose of this event is to connect - we won't be asking for money nor any commitment to meetings - we just want to meet up and enjoy each others' company. We will let you know what events are coming up and also ask you for any ideas you might have. Please save this date and come along - enjoy a glass of wine and some time to meet some new people.

Parking

A reminder that you cannot come up the driveway when picking up or dropping off your children unless you have a mobility card. If you do have one you need to display it or you will be asked to move on.

Also a reminder that you cannot stop on the yellow lines. When you do this you create a visibility issue for the pedestrian crossing and make it dangerous for our road patrol team and all the students crossing the road. We ask that you use the P3 area - if it is full then you may need to go around the block.

Thanks so much for keeping our children safe!
