Keep Our Kids Safe

Jo Earl —

We just want to remind people about safe pick up and drop off at the three different entrances to St Francis. We are not trying to make things difficult for you - we are trying to keep the children safe at all entrances.

Innes Rd Entrance

We ask that you do not pick up and drop off using the yellow lines. Parking on the yellow lines obstructs the view of the children who are doing road patrol and make it difficult for them to know when it is clear and safe to get people across the road.

When you use the P3 - you must stay with your car - this has been working well in the mornings as a drop off zone.

Please do not use the driveway to drop your children off UNLESS you have a mobility card - this must be displayed in your car when you are using the driveway.

Norah Street

We are asking that you do not drive your car up to the school entrance in Norah St to pick up your children. There is plenty of parking on Nancy Ave, the far end of Norah St and Francis Ave. The area by the school gate becomes very congested and it is just not safe for our students when cars are reversing and turning and driving out. We know that there are no signs to tell you not to park and no yellow lines, however we are asking you to think about our students safety and not use this area as a pick up zone.

Kensington Ave

This pick up area is working quite well at the moment. The road is very busy at pick up time - and there is not always good visibility so please remind your children to be safe and wait unitl you collect them there.

Thank you all for your patience and for paying consideration to these safety measures.
