This year the year 7/8 and 5/6 have started their winter sports season

This term the year 5 to 8’s started their winter sport on Thursdays. The sports  that we are competing in are; Football, Rugby, Hockey and Netball. The teams play at Hagley park and leave just before lunch. They eat lunch at the park,  do a 15-20 minute warm up and then start playing. Each game goes until around 2:30.  Students then take off their boots, shin pads or mouth guards and walk to the bus. 

 I'm sure in the months coming there will be even more fun t be had at winter sports.  Here are some photos of the football team playing.

 In week 2 all of our A teams except rugby went to Hagley park to compete in the  Catholic Schools Tournament.  They all had a bunch of fun and had a good time playing other schools.
